Helen’s Anti-Graffiti Campaign
In April I moved an amendment to a Bill, which would have banned the sale of spray cans to anyone under the age of 18.
Labor opposed this measure.
Graffiti is a blight on our suburbs.
- Our plan will see a ban on the sale of paint cans to minors
- Make offenders clean up their mess
- Create a local hotline to report graffiti
- Target graffiti along train lines
The City of Casey cleans up graffiti on private property, as well as on Council land. I think Glen Eira and Port Phillip should introduce this plan.
